We are currently searching for a joyful Minister of Music to join our amazing staff beginning September 2, 2024. Our ideal candidate can play the organ and piano, as well as direct our volunteer choir. This part-time job has rehearsals on Thursday evenings at 7:00 pm and worship on Sunday mornings at 11:00 am. Minister of Music

Reports to: Pastor & Personnel Committee
Status: Part-Time
FLSA: Not Exempt

Job Summary
The Minister of Music will oversee the musical offerings to the glory of God at Westminster Presbyterian Church (WPC) in Arlington, TX.

• Participate in staff meetings and Worship Committee meetings as appropriate.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Proficiency in basic computer skills and programs (email communication)
• Choral direction experience
• Organ & piano mastery

Physical Requirements
• Able to get up and down stairs

Evaluation: Performance reviews will be conducted annually by the Pastor as head of staff and the Personnel Committee. The Personnel Committee will review the adequacy of compensation and provide recommendations to the Session.

Salary Range: $17,000-$20,000
