Stewardship
At Westminster, we believe that good stewardship - how we manage the time, talents, and treasures God has given us - is an essential part of discipleship. In addition to messages about stewardship throughout the year, we make particular effort in January of each year to focus on the components of giving at, through, and with WPC. We send a mailing to all of our members and regular visitors, and ask them to discern with God what they will be able to pledge this year in four different areas: prayer, time & talents, finances, and legacy giving. After four weeks of receiving pledges, the Session meets at the end of February to finalize the budget and present it to the congregation the first Sunday in March.
