All Adult Sunday School classes meet at 9:45 in Fellowship Hall

Adult 1

Adult 1 class features rotating topics about the Bible, biblical history, Presbyterianism, and more. Fall 2019 topics include: Literary Theory & Luke, Minor Prophets, and Reformation History. Pastor Kate curates the topics and teachers, and is always open to suggestions!

Adult I Sunday School Class

The Present Word

This class connects faith and life, as they dive into a deeper relationship with God. Using the PCUSA's The Present Word curriculum, we seek to nurture individual growth of the participants as children of God rooted in the Christian community, life in the Spirit, and Christian hope. 

Adult II Sunday School Class

Reading Disciples

This class reads and discusses various inspiring, insightful and challenging pieces of literature, which present moral questions and explore what it means to live a faithful life. Previous authors have included C.S. Lewis, Ralph Ellison, Mohsin Hamid, and Dietrich Bonhoeffer. They will start Fall 2019 by reading The Brothers Karamazov by Fyodor Dostoevsky. Other recent book selections have included A Gentleman in Moscow by Amor Towles, Gilead by Marilynne Robinson, The Mercy Seat by Elizabeth Hartley Winthrop, and Lamb by Christopher Moore.
