The Wired Word

New for Fall 2017! With The Wired Word curriculum, this class explores current events and how Scripture speaks to those events. With a strong belief that God is still speaking to us today, The Wired Word connects the Living Word with the words from the latest headlines.

The Present Word

This class also connects faith and life, as they dive into a deeper relationship with God. The Present Word nurtures individual growth of the participants as children of God rooted in the Christian community, life in the Spirit and Christian hope. Christians acknowledge God in our lives. Our faith focuses on who God is and what God has done, especially in Jesus Christ. The theme of our study this quarter is to acknowledge who we are; and in what we do, we seek to recognize and acknowledge the great and good God we worship and serve. In March we focus on the God who calls people to worship and acknowledge God’s ways in their lives through an Old Testament study.  In April we delve into the New Testament and celebrate the great act of sending Jesus Christ and then celebrate Easter and its messages. Back in the Old Testament in May, we acknowledge God in worship as the center of our lives now, day by day through our lessons ‘Give Praise to God.’
