Advent is the beginning of the Christian year, and the time when we prepare for Christ to come again! This is the message of Advent. Be Prepared! This year, as we prepare in worship, we'll be exploring the theme of Journeying to Bethleham. Please spend time preparing your heart and life to welcome Christ, by going on a spiritual journey to Bethlehem.

Our first Advent banner shows Mary and Joseph journeying to Bethlehem. They, too, made the journey to welcome God in this world.

Our second Advent banner shows a modern day scene in Europe. We chose this scene because the road leads from darkness to light.

Our third Advent banner is a group of Malawians on their journey. They remind us that people of all ages, from all eras and all areas of the world make this journey to welcome Christ.

Our fourth Advent banner is a road in Texas, reminding us of our own personal journey.

Our fifth Advent banner ... Let heaven and earth rejoice! Christ is born!
